Why can’t life be easy, it is always so hard,
I wanna fight back, but whit other cards,
I want a friend, just someone to hold
when everyone leaves, and it’s turning cold,
A friendly face, a little smile
Something that makes it worth the while.
I wanna scream, I wanna shout,
But most of all, I just wanna make it out.

I wanna get out of here, and start again,
with nothing to lose, and all things to gain.
I wanna talk, but there is no sound
I want it to stop, but it’s spinning round.
Nobody listens nobody cares
Sometimes I wonder why I’m still here.
But then in the darkness I see the light,
He is clearly there, an angel in sight
